Aaron Rodgers’ new, one-year contract with the Pittsburgh Steelers includes up to $2.5 million in incentives.
Now we know how those incentives can be unlocked, thanks to NFL insider Jordan Schultz.
Aaron Rodgers can earn up to $2.5 million in incentives next season
Basically, Rodgers will earn an additional $625 with a playoff victory in each round through the Super Bowl, assuming that he plays in 75 percent of Pittsburgh’s regular season snaps.
Aaron Rodgers has $2.5M in incentives in his contract with the Steelers, per sources.
If he plays 75% of the regular season snaps, he can earn the following:

🟡$625K for a Divisional Round win

These incentives should provide Rodgers with a bit of added motivation when it comes to experiencing postseason success with the Steelers, not that he needed it. If he wasn’t motivated to win at the highest level, Rodgers probably wouldn’t still be playing NFL football at 42 years old.
