The Saugatuck boys golf team claimed its second consecutive SAC Lakeshore Division title with a dominating performance this spring.
The Trailblazers won every conference jamboree and closed with a stunning team 155 on May 15 at Pebblewood to clinch the title.
Grant Schrotenboer led the charge with a stunning season of consistency. He finished first in six of the seven events, with a second-place finish in the other. In the final tournament, he shot a 1-over-par 37 to claim medalist honors.
Teammates Nick Mohr and Noah Conklin were just behind with 39s and Walt Bos shot a 40.
Schrotenboer finished first in the conference standings as the overall medalist.
Bos was third overall in the conference, while Charlie Lanning was fourth and Mohr tied with Conklin for fifth place.
All five of their normal lineup finished in the top five.
Saugatuck will look to defend its regional title on Tuesday, May 26, at Schoolcraft, with a spot in the Division 3 state tournament on the line.
