Torquay United have signed former Plymouth Argyle goalkeeper Zak Baker.
The 21-year-old was released by the League One side earlier this month having failed to make a first team appearance.
The Pilgrims’ academy graduate was an unused substitute on a number of occasions this season when Conor Hazard was injured.
Baker has had senior experience on loan at non-league sides Plymouth Parkway and Tiverton Town.
He is the Gulls’ second summer signing after striker Callum Morton joined on Monday
He is the first goalkeeper secured for next season after Seb Stacey and James Hamon were both released.
Torquay have not disclosed the length of Baker’s deal.
