Florida to host Gainesville Regional in 2026 NCAA Baseball Tournament

The Florida Gators will host a regional in the NCAA Baseball Tournament for the 20th time in 2026.

The NCAA selection committee announced the 16 host sites for this year’s tournament on Sunday, naming Florida’s Condron Family Ballpark as the site of the Gainesville Regional. It’s Florida’s first time hosting since 2023, when the Gators made it all the way to the national championship series.

This is the 13th time Florida has hosted a regional under Kevin O’Sullivan. The Gators have made the NCAA Tournament in all 18 full seasons O’Sullivan has been the head coach. It’s Florida’s 41st all-time NCAA Regional appearance.

The Gainesville Regional will take place over the weekend, starting on Friday and going through Monday, June 1, if needed. It’s double elimination, with three other teams set to be announced during Monday’s complete selection show, starting at noon ET. Florida will also find out if it is a top-eight seed on Monday, which determines home-field advantage through the NCAA Super Regionals.

Winners of each regional will advance to a best-of-three NCAA Super Regional, and the winners of those series advance to the College World Series in Omaha, Nebraska. Super Regionals take place June 5-8, and the College World Series will be held June 12-22.
