With the conclusion of the Coca-Cola 600 in Charlotte, a huge day of Memorial Day weekend racing is in the books.
It began with a Felix Rosenqvist win in the Indianapolis 500, continued with Kimi Antonelli claiming Formula One’s Canadian Grand Prix and ended with Daniel Suarez earning a rain-shortened win in NASCAR’s longest race of the season.
Suarez led 17 laps. He was in front of runner-up Christopher Bell and third-place finisher Denny Hamlin when the race was called with 27 laps remaining.
Throughout May 24, tributes continued to pour in for NASCAR legend Kyle Busch, who died suddenly at age 41 on May 21. The Coke 600 was the first Cup Series race since his passing.
Driving Busch’s old car, which Richard Childress Racing changed from No. 8 to 33 this weekend and beyond, Austin Hill placed 27th.
Here is the finishing order.
