Aurelien Tchouameni’s season at Real Madrid ended in the most turbulent manner possible as his fight with Federico Valverde created a rift between the fans and the player.
While he continued as an essential starter until the team’s final game, there is a sense that the player has to redeem himself after the tussle he was involved in, especially at a time when Real Madrid is having massive internal turmoil.
His future, thus, has been called into question for the first time in years. While the club insist he is non-transferable, interest from clubs across the world leaves the door open.
A ‘dream’ target
As confirmed by Fabrizio Romano, Manchester United in the Premier League consider Tchouameni to be their ‘dream’ midfield target for the summer and are willing to go all out for him.

They absolutely love the player and see him as the perfect defensive midfielder for their system. Ironically, they signed their previous player in the same position – Casemiro – also from Real Madrid.
Los Blancos, however, consider the Frenchman to be a very important player and see no situation where they sell him this summer. They consider the door closed for the moment.
Real Madrid pick a side
Despite Valverde being the captain and the ‘aggrieved party’ in terms of sustaining a serious injury in the fight with Tchouameni, Real Madrid see the Frenchman as the party they side with.

After all, they believe Valverde was out of line with his words and actions and that he was responsible for the situation escalating.
Should one of the players leave in June, it is thus more likely for it to be the Uruguayan and the club will reportedly consider offers for him.
On the contrary, they do not see Tchouameni as transferable in any capacity and reportedly even back him as a future captain for the club.
