What should we make about the future of Jaylen Brown with the Boston Celtics? The Cal alum has found himself in some fairly ubiquitous trade rumors to start the Celtics 2026 NBA offseason, Brown linked to a potential swap that would land Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo in Boston.
But those rumbles have been dubious from the get-go, and in spite of this, the idea lingers that Celtics President of Basketball Operations Brad Stevens and the rest of the front office might need to consider moving the Georgia native given the size of his next contract and his current age (29 years old). Is there any merit to this idea? And on top of that, does Brown really want to stay with the Celtics long-term? If not, it might be best to move him at the height of his value this offseason.
