NORMAN — The Zache sisters will depart Oklahoma softball.
Berkley Zache, a freshman pitcher, and Riley Zache, a sophomore catcher/infielder, both announced their intentions to enter the transfer portal on Monday, May 25.
Berkley held a 2.28 ERA in 15 ⅓ innings this season. She allowed one earned run in one inning of work during the Sooners’ Game 3 Super Regional loss to Mississippi State on Sunday.
In two seasons at OU, Riley recorded four at-bats.
The Zache sisters join sophomore utility Tia Milloy as Sooners to announce their decisions to transfer one day following the end of OU’s season.
The transfer portal opens on June 8.
