Packers among 11 teams beginning OTAs on Tuesday

The next stage of the offseason workout program has arrived for the 2026 version of the Green Bay Packers.

The Packers are one of 11 teams beginning Organized Team Activities, or OTAs, on Tuesday.

The first two phases of the program are complete, and the Packers are moving on to Phase Three, which can include 11-on-11, non-contact practice work. It’s as close to “football” as fans will get before the start of training camp in late July.

From the NFL: “Phase Three consists of the next four weeks of the program. Teams may conduct a total of 10 days of organized team practice activity, or ‘OTAs’. No live contact is permitted, but 7-on-7, 9-on-7, and 11-on-11 drills are permitted.”

Per Matt Schneidman of The Athletic, coach Matt LaFleur will speak before Wednesday’s practice, and the Packers will also open practice to the media on Wednesday.

This is only the first round of OTAs. The other OTA dates the Packers are as follows:

  • May 26-27
  • May 29
  • June 1-2
  • June 4
  • June 15-16
  • June 18

The team’s mandatory minicamp is scheduled for June 9-11.
