TMJ4 in Milwaukee received dispatch audio from a disturbance at Green Bay Packers running back Josh Jacobs’ home on Saturday that eventually led to him turning himself in on Tuesday on the allegation of five charges. Jacobs was released on Wednesday without being officially charged by Brown County, whose district attorney requested additional investigation before deciding on whether to charge Jacobs or not, stating, “there is reason to believe that additional evidence may exist.”
You can listen to the dispatch audio in the clip below:
One neighbor claimed there was yelling, screaming, and “things being thrown” at Jacobs’ home on Saturday morning. Later, another neighbor stated that the alleged victim, whose name was redacted, was assaulted.
The alleged assaulter, who wasn’t named in the audio, then apparently drove away in a Mercedes G Wagon. WBAY in Green Bay got footage of Jacobs’ home on Wednesday, where a G Wagon sat in the driveway after he was released from jail.
Both police and first responders (an ambulance) responded to the incident after Jacobs allegedly fled the scene. The timing of Jacobs apparently leaving the scene can help explain why he turned himself in on Tuesday, rather than being arrested on Saturday morning.
