Aberdeen boss Stephen Robinson has secured a player he has “admired for some time” by making versatile defender Lewis Mayo his first summer signing.
Mayo, 26, will join the Dons on a three-year deal when his Kilmarnock contract expires.
“He has shown real consistency and leadership qualities in this league, and he fits the profile of player we are looking to bring to the club as we continue to build a competitive squad,” said Robinson.
“We’re sure his experience and professionalism with be a great asset to the club both on and off the pitch.”
