The Martha’s Vineyard High girls tennis team remains unbeaten as they won its opening round playoff game.
The Division 3 top seeded Vineyarders (17-0) swept No. 32 Auburn on in the MIAA state tournament Round of 32 on Thursday.
Laina Dubin defeated Erin Borkman 6-0, 6-0 in first singles, Charlotte Marshard beat Emily Hunter 6-0, 6-0 in second singles, and Josey Johns won third singles 6-2, 6-3 over Danielle Treadwell.
Leah Thomson and Zoe Treitman defeated Kayla Piona and Mya Whitsitt 6-0, 6-2 in first doubles, and Tessa Schulz and Bella Schilling beat Carlee Yap and Elise Campero 6-0, 6-0 in second doubles.
They will face No. 16 North Reading in the Round of 16 on June 1.
