Chiefs release epic training montage from first week of offseason OTAs

The Kansas City Chiefs were hard at work preparing for their 2026 regular season campaign this week, conducting offseason practices as part of voluntary organized team activities (OTAs).

Some of the team’s biggest stars — most notably three-time Super Bowl MVP quarterback Patrick Mahomes — could be seen working out with their teammates, running drills that will give them an edge when live competition begins in August.

When the first week of practices had come to an end, the Chiefs took to Twitter to release this epic training montage that showed the progress that their players made after Kansas City’s initial workouts:

Though players weren’t wearing pads or making contact during any of the Chiefs’ drills, the hard work that Kansas City’s stars put in during these late-May workouts is sure to translate into regular-season success against every opponent the team faces in 2026 and will lay the foundation for every change head coach Andy Reid wants to make for the new campaign.
