A surprising report claims that Arne Slot is the new favourite to take over at Milan, just hours after he was sacked by Liverpool and probably replaced by Andoni Iraola.
The managerial merry-go-round is spinning off its axis this summer, with numerous clubs changing coaches.
Milan had targeted Iraola after sacking Max Allegri, and thought that the Spaniard was ideal following his impressive Bournemouth spell.
However, it quickly became evident that he was waiting for another offer, and it turns out that was from Liverpool.
Iraola to Liverpool, Slot for Milan?

Only this afternoon was it made official that Liverpool had fired Slot, and very quickly Belgian transfer pundit Sacha Tavolieri claimed that the Dutchman was in negotiations with Milan.
The 47-year-old won the Premier League last season, before that taking the Dutch League title with Feyenoord.
He had been on the bench at Anfield for only two seasons and was sacked after finishing fifth in the Premier League this term.

Until now, Slot had not been linked with the Milan job, as their main target now seems to be former Crystal Palace manager Oliver Glasner.
A meeting with him has been scheduled for next week.
