Tennessee-VCU baseball game score prediction in Chapel Hill Regional

No. 2 seed Tennessee (38-21) will return to action in the NCAA Tournament Chapel Hill Regional on Saturday. The Vols will face No. 4 seed VCU (37-24) at Boshamer Stadium in Chapel Hill, North Carolina.

First pitch between the Vols and Rams is scheduled for noon EDT. The elimination game can be watched on ESPN+.

Tennessee leads the all-time baseball series versus VCU, 1-0. The Vols won the only meeting, 10-6, on Feb. 10, 2001 in Charleston, South Carolina. The two schools were scheduled to play on Feb. 26, 2006 in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. The game was canceled.

On Friday in the Chapel Hill Regional, Tennessee lost to No. 2 seed East Carolina, 7-3, in 14 innings. VCU also lost to No. 1 seed and host North Carolina, 8-0, on Friday.

Ahead of Saturday’s loser’s bracket game, Nolan Analytics projects Tennessee to defeat VCU, 12-0. East Carolina is also projected to defeat North Carolina, 3-2.

First pitch for a winner’s bracket game between the Tar Heels and Pirates is scheduled for 5 p.m. EDT. ACC Network will televise the matchup.
