The Ravens unveiled updated uniforms this offseason, and while players haven’t worn them in a game yet, Lamar Jackson already has a favorite. Asked about the new look following OTA practice, the Ravens quarterback admitted he’s still evaluating the different combinations but said one uniform has already separated itself from the pack.
“I don’t have a favorite yet, because we haven’t worn them in a game, but I like them all so far.”
After thinking about it for a moment, Jackson quickly changed his answer.
“Nope, I lied. Black might be my favorite, then purple.”
The two-time MVP said one of the things he likes most is the updated look of Baltimore’s purple jersey.
“I like the metallic type of purple on the jersey.”
While Jackson has a leader-in-the-clubhouse, he said his opinion could still change once the Ravens take the field this season.
“I don’t know. We’ll have to find out later on.”
The Ravens’ uniform refresh has generated plenty of excitement among fans throughout the offseason, and Jackson’s endorsement of the black jerseys is likely to make that look even more popular heading into the 2026 season.
As for whether black remains his favorite once the games begin, Jackson plans to let the season decide.
