DJ Moore admits struggles in adjusting to Bills’ offense

DJ Moore is still getting used to his new home.

Moore spent the last three seasons of his NFL career with the Chicago Bears and the first five with the Carolina Panthers. Now, after his production dropped significantly last year and he had his least productive season in the league, Moore was shipped off to the Buffalo Bills as part of a trade.

Moore is certainly the type of talent who can eventually be a game-changer for the Bills, especially with a talented gunslinger like Josh Allen tossing him passes. He has, after all, recorded four 1,000-yard seasons over the course of his NFL career. But for now, he seems to be struggling to adjust to his new team. He reports having “growing pains” as he learns the Bills’ offense, but he also said he expects things to be “perfect” down the road.

Moore recorded just 682 receiving yards and six touchdowns during the 2025 season, but he has shown he’s capable of a much higher ceiling. His best season came just a few years ago in Chicago, when he tallied 1,364 receiving yards and eight touchdowns during the 2023 season. For now, he may still be adjusting to the new scheme, but once he is acclimated, expect him to make waves for the Bills.
