The time is now for golf fans who want to attend the 2027 Masters.
Augusta National Golf Club’s annual application and selection process for tickets to the sport’s first major of the year officially opened on Monday, June 1. Anybody can technically get tickets, which is what makes this among the hardest (and most rewarding) lottery systems to win in sports every year.
Potential patrons can apply for up to four tickets to the three days of practice rounds ahead of the start to the 2027 Masters, and they’re also eligible to receive as many as two tickets to the four tournament rounds. Masters week begins next year April 5, with the final round scheduled for April 11, 2027.
Here’s how the Masters ticket lottery and selection process works:
How to apply for tickets in Masters lottery
Ticket hopefuls will initially have to create a free account at Masters.com.
You can then apply for up to four tickets to Masters practice rounds on Monday and Tuesday, as well as the Par 3 Contest on Wednesday. You can apply for two tickets to the four tournament rounds at The Masters in 2027. Applicants can apply for all the days, but are only eligible to win tickets on one day.
The selection for practice rounds and tournament tickets will take place after the June 20, 2026 application deadline and all applicants will be notified in late July when the process is complete, according to Masters officials. Confirmation and payment instructions will be posted to successful applicant accounts at that time.
Tournament tickets will be awarded first, according to the Masters, and those not chosen who also applied for practice rounds will be included in the lottery for practice rounds. All applicants will be notified in late July via email when the “random selection process” is completed.
How much do Masters tickets cost?
Ticket prices for Monday and Tuesday will be $125 each in 2027, according to the Masters ticket website, and Wednesday tickets will be $150 each. The daily tournament tickets (Thursday through Sunday) are $160. These are the same prices as the 2026 Masters.
Augusta National, Inc. notes that it is the only authorized seller of Masters tickets and the resale of any Masters ticket is strictly prohibited. “Tickets acquired from third parties, by whatever means, may be excluded from attendance to the tournament.”
For more information on tickets, call the Masters Tournament Ticket Office at 706-667-6700.
Otherwise, good luck!
