The Cleveland Browns are making one of the biggest trades of the NFL offseason, sending Myles Garrett to the Los Angeles Rams for a massive haul.

In the initial reporting of the trade, it was revealed that the Browns were set to receive a 2027 first-round pick and edge rusher Jared Verse, along with more compensation that hadn’t been revealed.

But now, according to NFL Insider Ian Rappoport, the full trade compensation for the Garrett trade was revealed, and it’s some fun picks for the Browns.

Browns’ full trade compensation for Myles Garrett revealed

“New agreed to and official: The Browns are trading Defensive Player of the Year Myles Garrett to the Rams for star edge Jared Verse, a 2027 1st-round, a 2028 2nd-round, and a 2029 3rd, per me, @AdamSchefter and @TomPelissero,” Rapoport reports.

After the initial report was made, the Browns are now receiving a 2028 second-round pick and a 2029 third-round pick in exchange for Garrett.

This is a massive return for the Browns, as they’re landing a superstar young edge rusher in Verse, who is 25 years old and under contract for the next 2-3 seasons at least.

Add in the 2027 first-rounder, 2028 second-rounder, and 2029 third-rounder, and the Browns’ compensation for Garrett is a very strong return.

They’re getting a young edge rusher to replace Garrett right away, and landing multiple very valuable picks over the next three draft classes.

Even before the second and third round picks were added, this was a solid trade for the Browns. But now, it looks a lot better, as the Browns will be reaping the rewards from this trade for the next four years and three draft classes.
