Cumberland 12, Burrillville 6
Despite being down a player in the final six minutes of the game (too many yellow cards), the Clippers managed to hold on and doubled-up on the Broncos in this Division III semifinal.
Leading the way for Cumberland was Lucy Briggs, who scored five goals and added three assists. Also factoring heavily in the win were Brooke Tellier and Leanna Parrillo, who scored three goals apiece.
For Burrillville, Alexis Novicki and Giavanna Marini each had two goals in the loss.
The Clippers advance to the Division II title game against Westerly at 2 p.m. Sunday at Brown University.
Westerly 21, Cranston West 3
The Bulldogs unleashed their exceptional scoring skills and the Falcons paid the price as Westerly rolled to a victory over Cranston West in this Division II semifinal.
Casey Macera turned in a terrific performance with six goals and four assists for the Bulldogs in the win.
Accounting for all the Westerly goals were Ella Seltzer, Gianna Falcone, Sienna Fizzano with three goals each, Phoebe Brennan with two goals and two helpers, Jenna Parker with two goals and Macy Antoch and Sienna Mathieu with one goal apiece.
For Cranston West in the loss, Ashley Budano scored twice and Zoe Budano had the other tally.
đ„GIRLS LACROSSE â Division III Semifinal
Toll Gate 15, East Providence 5
Up 7-5 at halftime, the Titans scored eight more goals in the second frame and the defense held the Townies scoreless the rest of the way as the Toll Gate rolled to victory over East Providence.
Delanie Wheeler put together an outstanding effort in the win as she scored seven goals and assisted on two others. Aubrey Rubeira also had a solid outing as she put four behind the EP goalie. Others contributing to the win were Jenna White with two goals and Stella Kraus with one.
For East Providence, Alyssa Karalekas finished her season on a high note with four goals and Sydney Olson had the other score in the loss.
Toll Gate advances to the Division III final and will play the winner of Wednesday’s Pilgrim-Smithfield semifinal on Saturday or Sunday at Brown University.
đ„ GIRLS LACROSSE â Division IV Semifinal

đBOYS VOLLEYBALL â Division II Semifinal
West Warwick 3, Central Falls 1
Colin Kelly took the wheel and drove his Wizards past the Warriors (25-19, 22-25, 25-16, 25-23) in the Division II semifinal. Kelly amassed 16 kills and nine blocks in the win.
Kelly was not the only Wizard to have a solid outing in the victory. Ian Degnan recorded 58 assists, 3 blocks and 7 digs, Alex Osmena had 14 kills and five digs and Liam Sisson was good for nine kills, four aces and three digs.
For Central Falls in the loss, Nicolas Goncalves recorded 10 kills and two aces, Emmanuel Tavares had 12 killsand Daniel Rojo had 16 digs.
West Warwick moves on to the Division II final for a date with Westerly at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Rhode Island College.
đBOYS VOLLEYBALL â Division III Semifinal
Exeter-West Greenwich 3, St. Raphael 0
In what was a total team effort, the play of Zoltan Libertini (10 kills, 10 digs), Will Edwards (29 assists, six digs) and Casey Kretchman (seven kills, 12 digs) and Derik Payette (eight kills) paved the way for the Scarlet Knights sweep (25-21, 27-25, 25-22) over the Saints in the Division III semifinal.
Although they were swept in the match, the Saints got solid play from Jaymeson Taylor, who had 19 kills, two blocks, an ace and five digs; Joe Clifton, who recorded five kills and three blocks; and Brighton Champagne, who was good for 32 assists, two kills and two blocks.
EWG moves on to the D-III final and will play Mt. Hope at 5 p.m. Saturday at RIC.
