There was excitement all around with the news that the New England Patriots had traded with the Philadelphia Eagles for star wide receiver A.J. Brown.
However, that excitement went even deeper for the players already on the roster who have teamed with the three-time All-Pro wideout in the past. That includes veteran safety Kevin Byard and defensive tackle Milton Williams.
Byard and Brown were teammates dating back to their time with the Tennessee Titans. They played with each other on two separate occasions. They were teammates with the Titans from 2019-2021, and they teamed together again with the Philadelphia Eagles in 2023.
Brown crossed paths with Williams in Philly, where the two won a Super Bowl together. Both Byard and Williams reacted to the trade on social media.

The trio has reunited in New England with the hopes of winning a Super Bowl.
Williams helped lead the Patriots to an AFC East division title and the AFC championship crown last season. However, the team fell short of its ultimate goal at Super Bowl LX. There’s hope that Brown and Byard are two of the newest additions that help put the Patriots over the top in 2026.
