Galatasaray have completed the signing of Ivory Coast defender Wilfried Singo from AS Monaco in a deal worth €30.8 million ($36m), the Turkish Super Lig club confirmed on Thursday.
As part of the transfer, Monaco will also receive 10% of any future resale profit should Galatasaray sell the player in the future.
Five-Year Contract for Singo
The 24-year-old right-back, capped 31 times for the Ivory Coast national team, has signed a five-year contract worth €4.8 million per season.
Singo’s arrival strengthens Galatasaray’s defensive line as the Istanbul giants aim to dominate the Turkish Super Lig and compete strongly in the UEFA Champions League.
