England’s group stage campaign comes to a close this evening as the Three Lions face Panama looking to secure top spot in Group L.
Thomas Tuchel’s men were unconvincing against Ghana, held to a goalless draw, but at the New York New Jersey Stadium, three points are a must.
Tasked with analysing this huge game are ITV’s team of presenters, pundits and reporters.
ITV’s complete list of commentators, pundits and presenters for England vs Panama
The Group L game between England and Panama takes place on Saturday, June 27 with a 10pm kick-off (BST).
ITV is taking care of this one, but who are the faces behind the broadcast?
Mark Pougatch will be the main presenter for ITV on the night.
He will be accompaned in the studio by England icons Ian Wright and Gary Neville, who will naturally be letting their passionate support for the Three Lions influence and inform their analysis.
Neville won 85 caps for England and went to five major tournaments (three European Championships and two World Cups). Wright was less involved with England, winning 33 caps and scoring nine goals, and never playing at a major tournament for his country (due to injury).
They’ll sit alongside Roy Keane, who will add a little balance to proceedings with his no-nonsense approach.
The trio work together regularly, be it on television for Sky Sports or on their highly popular football podcast/talk show, The Overlap.
As for during the match, you’ll hear the voice of Sam Matterface leading the commentary team. He works for ITV, TNT Sports, and talkSPORT, and is commonly the main commentator for England matches.
He will be joined by former England and Arsenal man Lee Dixon: the pair often work together for international fixtures, so this will be a very familiar pairing for England fans.
Karen Carney, Emma Hayes and reporter Gabriel Clarke will round out the broadcaster’s coverage.
