Rivers United have announced free entry for fans in their first home fixture of the 2025/26 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season against Kwara United.
The match is scheduled to be played at the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium, Port Harcourt, on Sunday, with kickoff set for 4 pm.
The club’s management confirmed the decision in a statement on Thursday, urging fans and supporters to come out in large numbers to cheer the team.
Rivers United earned a 1-1 draw away to reigning NPFL champions, Remo Stars, in their season opener last weekend.
The Pride of Rivers will now look to secure maximum points in front of their home supporters.
