France vs Morocco is nearly a repeat of the 2022 semi-final, merely a round prior in North America.
But history is on the line for both sides: Morocco could make it to a second successive semi-final, and France look to march on in their quest to reach a third consecutive World Cup final.
Morocco have endured the hardest test of the pair so far, prevailing in a narrow victory on penalties against the Netherlands, but can they pull off an upset against the team tipped to win it all?

Who are the pundits, commentators and presenters for France vs Morocco, Quarter-Final, 2026 World Cup?
Kylian Mbappe has been the player to watch for France, the greatest in World Cup history, looking to continue building an illustrious resume at this tournament.
Morocco also have a game-breaker of their own in Ismael Saibari, and an assortment of clinical, technical players, but fall short in comparison to France’s ludicrously stacked squad.
The match will be played at 9pm BST, broadcast by ITV, with the quarter-final being held at the Gillette Stadium in Foxborough.
Presenting the event is Mark Pougatch at the ITV studio in Brooklyn, which FourFourTwo recently had the opportunity to tour.
Joining him as pundits are three former professionals, all of whom rank high on FFT‘s World Cup punditry tier-list.
The first is Ian Wright, of Match of the Day, The Rest is Football and general broadcasting fame, once one of the game’s finest strikers.
Second is Roy Keane, ex-Republic of Ireland international and Manchester United man, known for his quick but dry wit, and uncompromising words.
Third is Patrick Vieira, ex-Arsenal midfielder who was a key player in the London club’s Premier League ‘invincible’ title victory.
The Frenchman’s presence marks a slight deviation from the Wright-Keane-Gary Neville line-up that ITV has produced so often, but his insights are among the best of any pundit for either British broadcaster.
Serving as the match’s main voice is Jon Champion, with Ally McCoist joining as co-commentator for the event.
