Spain are yet to concede a goal at this World Cup and so Belgium will need their creative players and strikers at their best if they are to be the first team to breach the Spanish backline.

Michael Oliver has been assigned to oversee this encounter as one of only two English referees selected for the World Cup alongside Anthony Taylor.
The Premier League official actually missed his opening match at this year’s tournament in the Group E meeting between Ivory Coast and Ecuador due to injury.
However Oliver was soon back fighting fit to take charge of a further two group games involving France and Norway as well as the Netherlands against Sweden. And he took charge of Canada vs Morocco in the Round of 16.
His World Cup foray came in the 2022 edition of the tournament in Qatar with two group fixtures and Brazil‘s quarter-final exit to Croatia after a penalty shootout.
The 41-year-old has experience in 812 competitive fixtures including in the Champions League and domestically taking charge of two FA Cup finals.
He also holds the record as the youngest Premier League match-appointed referee after making his debut in August 2010 at the age of just 25 years and 182 days.
Oliver will be assisted by compatriots Stuart Burt and James Mainwaring while Brazillian duo Ramon Abatti and Rafael Alves serve fourth official and reserve assistant referee.
The winner of this game will play their quarter-final tie at Los Angeles Stadium on 14 July.
