David Sánchez Pérez-Castejón, hermano del presidente del Gobierno, ha sido condenado a 9 años de inhabilitación por el delito de prevaricación administrativa. La Audiencia Provincial de Badajoz ha impuesto también una condena de 9 años de inhabilitación contra Miguel Ángel Gallardo, expresidente de la Diputación de Badajoz y exlíder del PSOE extremeño, por las supuestas irregularidades en la contratación del familiar de Pedro Sánchez en el organismo público en 2017.
