La directora general de la Guardia Civil, Mercedes González, ha declarado este viernes ante el juez Santiago Pedraz, instructor del caso Leire Díez, que se siente una víctima de la supuesta trama encabezada por la exmilitante socialista Leire Díez y por Santos Cerdán, ex secretario de Organización del PSOE. Según confirman varias fuentes jurídicas presentes en el interrogatorio celebrado en la Audiencia Nacional, al que González acudía como imputada, la máxima responsable del instituto armado ha afirmado que nunca ha colaborado con ninguna “cloaca”, ni ha participado en maniobras para frenar procedimientos judiciales sensibles para el PSOE, el Gobierno o el entorno de Pedro Sánchez. En todo caso, ha apostillado, Cerdán y Díez la utilizaron.
