Sir David Beckham sent his message to former Manchester United midfielder Casemiro.
The Brazilian officially joined his MLS side Inter Miami after leaving Old Trafford at the end of his contract, bringing an end to a memorable spell with the Red Devils.
Beckham, who co-owns Inter Miami, has been closely involved in another busy transfer window for the American club.
However, Casemiro’s arrival has not come without controversy.
It has recently been revealed that Major League Soccer is investigating Inter Miami over an alleged breach of the league’s tampering rules during negotiations for the midfielder.
Despite that ongoing investigation, Beckham has continued to promote the club’s latest addition.

Following Casemiro’s official unveiling, Beckham reacted on Instagram with a heartfelt message welcoming the Brazilian to Inter Miami.
The Manchester United legend wrote: “Bem-vindo a Miami, meu amigo […] A special day as we welcome @casemiro and his family to Inter Miami… a person and player I have admired for a long time. Thank you for choosing to make Miami your home #FreedomToDream @intermiamicf.”
Translated from Portuguese, Beckham’s opening words mean: “Welcome to Miami, my friend.”
The post was accompanied by Inter Miami’s official signing graphic celebrating the arrival of the experienced midfielder.
Casemiro joins Inter Miami after making more than 150 appearances for Manchester United.
He helped the club win both the Carabao Cup and the FA Cup before playing an important role in securing Champions League qualification under Michael Carrick last season.
The 34-year-old also represented Brazil at the 2026 FIFA World Cup before completing his move to the United States.
Inter Miami believe his experience will strengthen a squad that already includes Lionel Messi, Sergio Busquets, Jordi Alba and Rodrigo De Paul.
While MLS continues its investigation into the circumstances surrounding the transfer, Beckham has made it clear he is delighted to welcome another world-class player to the club he helped build.
