The report states that he generated more income than several global music stars who were also involved in the tournament.
Shakira reportedly earned around £15 million after performing at both the opening ceremony and the World Cup final halftime show.
Justin Bieber is said to have earned approximately £12 million following his performance at the final.
David Beckham was a constant presence throughout the tournament.
He attended numerous matches and appeared in advertising campaigns for brands including McDonald’s, Walkers and Stella Artois.
The Mirror adds that Beckham’s influence in the United States continues to grow through his ownership of Inter Miami, helping strengthen his commercial appeal during the tournament.
It is also claimed that Beckham’s estimated £19a million earnings exceeded the combined prize money received by England’s squad after their third-place finish at the World Cup.
