Former England midfielder Joe Cole believes Chelsea has what it takes to win the Champions League this season, describing his former club as one of the dark horses in the competition.

- Tottenham Hotspur
Last season, Arsenal progressed the furthest among English sides, eventually falling in the semi-finals to Paris Saint-Germain, who went on to win the title.
Cole’s Assessment of Chelsea
Speaking to TNT Sports, Cole said:
“I’d put them in a bracket just at the top of the dark horses and bottom of the teams who you might expect to be in the latter stages of the competition. It all depends, I think, on the performance of the goalkeeper Sanchez.”
