Atalanta head coach Ivan Juric has confirmed that Ademola Lookman will not feature for the club in their upcoming UEFA Champions League match against Paris Saint-Germain. Juric stressed that Lookman must show greater commitment to play for La Dea.
The Nigerian winger has yet to make an appearance for Atalanta this season after pushing for a summer exit. Juric made it clear he will not beg Lookman to play, emphasizing the need for players who are fully committed to the club.
“Lookman in Paris? I think not. The situation is unpleasant and not beautiful,” Juric told DAZN. “We need ready-made guys who want to give a lot to the shirt,” the 50-year-old coach added, echoing his stance from previous games.
Atalanta will now focus on preparing the squad for the clash with PSG, while Lookman’s future at the club remains uncertain.
