Man Utd Urged to Sign Premier League’s ‘Best Winger’ After Ruben Amorim Talks

Manchester United have been advised to make a move for Antoine Semenyo, with former England international Chris Waddle branding the Bournemouth star “the best winger in the Premier League right now.”

Semenyo has had a sensational start to the season, scoring six goals and providing three assists in just seven Premier League games. His explosive form has reportedly attracted interest from Manchester United, Tottenham, and Liverpool, with reports claiming Ruben Amorim even met the winger for dinner at the end of last season.

Despite signing a new contract with Bournemouth until 2030, Waddle believes it will be difficult for the club to keep him for long.

“Antoine Semenyo is definitely the best winger in the Premier League right now. He’s positive, he scores goals, he drives at players. I think Bournemouth will struggle to hold onto him,” Waddle said.

He also suggested that Semenyo would be a perfect fit at Manchester United, linking up with the likes of Matheus Cunha, Benjamin Sesko, and Bruno Fernandes.

“If Semenyo went to United, he could play just as he is for Bournemouth and be ideal for them. United will come good again — and he’s the type of player the fans would love. It would be a great acquisition, but he won’t come cheap.”

Despite the transfer rumours, Semenyo insists he is happy at Bournemouth for now.

“This is my safe place. I felt wanted here, and I want to be playing. We’ve got a good group and big ambitions,” he told Sky Sports.
