Arne Slot has sent a message of support to Mohamed Salah after the Liverpool star wiped his social media accounts clean, sparking speculation among fans.

The Egyptian forward deleted nearly all his posts and profile pictures on Instagram and X earlier this week, leading many to wonder if it was connected to ongoing rumours about his future at Anfield.

Speaking ahead of Liverpool’s Champions League clash with Eintracht Frankfurt, Slot addressed the situation directly, saying: “Mo is a top professional and a massive part of what we’re building here. Players sometimes do things on social media that have nothing to do with football. He’s focused, he’s happy, and he’s training well.”

Salah’s sudden online move came amid reports linking him once again with a lucrative switch to the Saudi Pro League, though no official talks have been confirmed.

The Liverpool boss insisted there’s no cause for alarm, adding: “He’s been fantastic in the dressing room, and there’s no issue between us. He’s fully committed to Liverpool.”

Fans will be hoping the incident blows over quickly, as Salah remains one of the Reds’ most crucial players this season under Slot’s new regime.
