The January transfer window continues to gather pace, with major developments emerging across Europe and the Premier League.

The England midfielder is undergoing his medical in London ahead of a £35 million move from Atletico Madrid, after Spurs moved swiftly to hijack Aston Villa’s proposed deal. Gallagher is expected to sign a long-term contract with the North London club.

Across Europe, Bayern Munich remain interested in Crystal Palace defender Marc Guehi, despite strong competition from Manchester City and Liverpool. The German giants are monitoring the situation closely as they look to strengthen their defence.

In Italy, AS Roma have reached an agreement with Marseille to sign highly-rated French teenager Robinio Vaz for around €20 million. The 18-year-old forward has impressed in Ligue 1 this season and has already accepted Roma’s proposal.

Meanwhile, Italian striker Giacomo Raspadori is set to leave Atletico Madrid just six months after joining the club, with Atalanta agreeing a deal worth approximately €23 million. Raspadori rejected interest from Roma in favour of the Bergamo-based side.

In England, several Premier League players are attracting attention. Arsenal defender Ben White is being monitored by multiple clubs amid an injury-hit campaign, while Liverpool defender Ibrahima Konate is increasingly likely to leave Anfield at the end of the season due to stalled contract talks.

Former Chelsea forward Timo Werner is also on the move, with the German attacker nearing a permanent switch to MLS side San Jose Earthquakes as he looks to revive his career and international prospects.

Tottenham are also progressing with a deal for Brazilian teenager Souza from Santos, while Manchester United have recalled young striker Ethan Wheatley from his loan spell as part of squad reshuffling under the incoming interim boss.

With weeks still left in the window, more twists are expected as clubs across Europe push to finalise deals and reinforce their squads.
