AC Milan director Igli Tare has confirmed that Samuel Chukwueze could leave the club before the end of the current transfer window.
The Super Eagles winger has been linked with Premier League side Fulham and LaLiga outfit Real Betis. Fulham reportedly came close to signing the Nigeria international during the final days of the January transfer window.
Chukwueze, 26, has played a peripheral role at the San Siro since his move from Villarreal two years ago. He currently ranks behind Rafael Leao and Christian Pulisic in the club’s pecking order.
Commenting on Chukwueze’s future, Tare said:
“Chukwueze and Musah could still leave this summer, it is a possibility. We are evaluating the best option for us,” – Igli Tare, as quoted by Soy Calcio.
The Nigeria international has scored four goals in 51 league appearances for AC Milan so far.
