
The Super Eagles have opened their training camp in Cairo ahead of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.
According to the team’s media officer, Promise Efoghe, the players and officials are currently based at the Renaissance Hotel in Cairo.
Head coach Eric Chelle, his assistants and members of the backroom staff have all arrived at the camp.
Goalkeeper Francis Uzoho has also joined the team after touching down in Cairo in the early hours of Sunday morning. The Omonia Nicosia shot-stopper arrived at around 2:00am.
The Super Eagles will face the Pharaohs of Egypt in an international friendly at the Cairo International Stadium on Tuesday as part of their AFCON 2025 preparations.
