Liverpool are awaiting the results of further scans to determine the severity of the injury and the expected recovery timeline, but there is growing concern that Isak could miss a significant portion of the season.
Liverpool head coach Arne Slot admitted after the match that the situation does not look positive, suggesting that injuries preventing players from attempting a return are often serious.
