Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has confirmed positive injury news ahead of the Premier League clash against Nottingham Forest, with William Saliba, Ben White, and Christian Norgaard back in training.
However, Bukayo Saka remains unavailable for Saturday’s lunchtime fixture.
Arteta Provides Injury Updates
Speaking to reporters on Friday, Arteta said:
“Everybody is good [from the international break].
Bukayo [Saka] is still out. He’s trying to get back as quickly as possible. We need to respect that process.
William [Saliba] trained today. We have a decision to make on whether we play him or not.
The rest as usual. Ben [White] is OK.”
Arsenal will be looking to bounce back after a 1-0 defeat to Liverpool before the international break, having won their opening two league matches against Manchester United and Leeds.
What This Means for Arsenal
With Saliba, White, and Norgaard available, Arteta has more defensive and midfield options for the Nottingham Forest game. However, the absence of Saka means Arsenal will still be without one of their key attacking threats.
