Boca Juniors have confirmed the passing of their legendary coach Miguel Ángel Russo at the age of 69.

In an emotional statement, the club said Russo leaves “an indelible mark on our institution and will always be remembered for his joy, warmth, and effort.”

Russo, a beloved figure in Argentine football, guided Boca Juniors to several titles, including the Copa Libertadores, and will be remembered as one of the greatest managers in the club’s history.
