It was another thrilling night of UEFA Champions League football, with English clubs putting on dominant performances across Europe.

At the Emirates, Arsenal crushed Atletico Madrid 4–0, thanks to goals from Gabriel Magalhães, Gabriel Martinelli, and a brace from Viktor Gyökeres, who ended a 600-minute goal drought in emphatic fashion. Declan Rice delivered two assists from set-pieces, underlining his growing influence in Mikel Arteta’s side.

Over in Spain, Manchester City eased past Villarreal 2–0 with Erling Haaland scoring yet again and Bernardo Silva heading home the second. Pep Guardiola’s men look in complete control of their group campaign.

At St James’ Park, Newcastle United defeated Benfica 2–0, with goals from Anthony Gordon and Harvey Barnes firing the Magpies to victory under the lights.

Elsewhere:

PSG ran riot with a 6–2 win over Bayer Leverkusen.

Inter Milan swept aside Union St. Gilloise 4–0.

Borussia Dortmund beat FC Copenhagen 3–1.

PSV Eindhoven saw off Napoli 3–1.

Barcelona earlier crushed Olympiacos 6–1, with Marcus Rashford scoring twice.

It was a night to remember for Premier League clubs, with all three — Arsenal, City, and Newcastle — recording emphatic victories.
