Chelsea have reached an agreement to sign striker Emanuel Emegha from Strasbourg in 2026.
The transfer involves two clubs owned by BlueCo, the consortium comprising Clearlake Capital and Todd Boehly.
Emegha’s Profile and Career
Emegha, 22, enjoyed a productive season in Ligue 1 last year, scoring 14 goals and providing three assists in 27 appearances for Strasbourg.
He began his career at Jong Sparta before moving on to Sparta Rotterdam, Antwerp, and Sturm Graz, joining Strasbourg in 2023.
Strategic Signings Under BlueCo
This move comes after BlueCo signed Brighton midfielder Julio Enciso during the summer transfer window. Enciso will spend the current season at Strasbourg on a four-year deal but is expected to eventually join Chelsea.
Emegha’s signing highlights Chelsea’s continued strategy to invest in young talent across clubs owned by the consortium.
