Erling Haaland sparked wild scenes in Norway’s dressing room after a dominant 4-1 victory over Estonia left his nation on the brink of qualifying for the 2026 World Cup.
The Manchester City superstar delivered another brilliant performance, scoring twice as Norway moved three points clear at the top of their qualifying group. Alexander Sorloth also found the net to secure a crucial win at the Ullevaal Stadion.
Norway now face Italy in their final qualifier, but only a historic 9-0 defeat in Milan would deny them an automatic World Cup spot due to their superior goal difference. The near-certain qualification triggered massive celebrations among the squad.
