Newcastle United midfielder Joe Willock experienced an unexpected motoring mishap when his £200,000 Porsche 911 GT3 ran out of petrol on a roundabout in Cowgate, Newcastle. Fans captured the incident on video as the £80,000-a-week star filled his tank using a jerry can, just a few hundred yards from a nearby garage.
In the clip, Willock, 26, wearing a Newcastle training top and black joggers, is heard joking with a passer-by: “Yeh, hopefully, otherwise I’m fg pushing it.”* Despite the embarrassing situation, Willock thanked fans and went on his way, leaving many amused on social media.
