Leeds United have confirmed the signing of Swiss international forward Noah Okafor from AC Milan on a four-year contract, subject to work permit and international clearance.
The 25-year-old versatile attacker can play across the forward line—on either wing or as a central striker—and becomes the Whites’ ninth signing of the summer.
Career Journey
Okafor began his career at FC Basel, where his pace and skill earned him the Swiss Super League Young Player of the Year award, securing a move to Red Bull Salzburg.
During his time in Austria, he featured in over 100 matches, contributing to 57 goal involvements, and won four consecutive league titles along with three Austrian Cups. He also shone in Europe, scoring six goals in 16 UEFA Champions League appearances.
His performances attracted the attention of AC Milan, who signed him in 2023. In Italy, Okafor helped Milan finish second in Serie A before moving on loan to Napoli, where he played a crucial role in helping the club clinch their fourth-ever Scudetto.
International Experience
Okafor made his Switzerland senior debut in 2019 against England and has since earned 24 international caps, including an appearance at the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
Leeds’ Newest Addition
With the Premier League season underway and Leeds recently defeating Everton, Okafor adds depth and experience to Daniel Farke’s squad. Fans can expect to see him in action soon, as he links up with familiar faces he faced during pre-season in Dublin.
Leeds United welcomed the forward with an official statement:
“Everyone at Leeds United would like to welcome Noah to the club and we look forward to seeing him make his debut.”
