
Liverpool have announced record-breaking revenue of £703 million ($947 million) for the 2024–25 season, the campaign in which they lifted their 20th English league title.
The club also reported a profit of £8 million after tax, driven by strong growth across media, matchday and commercial income streams.
Revenue Breakdown
Media revenue rose by £60 million to £264 million, reflecting increased broadcasting income following their successful league campaign.
Matchday revenue increased by £14 million, while commercial revenue grew by £15 million, underlining the club’s continued global commercial strength.
Rising Operational Costs
However, expenses also climbed significantly. Administrative costs increased by £57 million, while staffing costs rose by £42 million.
Liverpool noted that several cost categories have experienced double-digit growth in recent years, impacting overall margins despite strong revenue gains.
