
Franco Mastantuono has officially been unveiled as a new Real Madrid player at the club’s training complex, Real Madrid City. The event began with a video montage of the Argentine midfielder’s best moments on the pitch, before club president Florentino Pérez delivered an emotional welcome.
“Today is another of those great days for all of us who feel a passion for Real Madrid,” Pérez said. “One of the greatest footballing talents to emerge in recent years is joining our club. We welcome Franco Mastantuono.”
Pérez also congratulated Mastantuono on celebrating his 18th birthday, which allowed him to officially join the team, and praised the player’s journey, dedication, and family support.
Pérez Praises Mastantuono Real Madrid Signing

The Real Madrid president paid tribute to River Plate, Mastantuono’s former club, calling it “a legendary and successful institution” that has produced many greats, including the late Alfredo Di Stéfano.
“Franco Mastantuono joins a prestigious list of Argentinian players who have worn the Real Madrid shirt,” Pérez added. “From now on, the Santiago Bernabéu awaits you. You’ll be sharing the dressing room with champions who are first and foremost madridistas.”

Visibly emotional, Mastantuono thanked everyone present at the ceremony, including his family, coaching staff, and fans back in Argentina.
“It’s a dream come true to join Real Madrid, the biggest club in the world,” he said. “I promise I will give my life to this jersey. Today, my Real Madrid story begins.”

The young midfielder also expressed gratitude to those who believed in him, mentioning Xabi Alonso, president Florentino Pérez, and his new teammates. He concluded with a message to fans: “They’ll be playing alongside a fan on the pitch, and I hope to achieve big things here. Hala Madrid!”
