They Valued Me at Galatasaray – Osimhen Opens Up on Big Offers He Turned Down

Galatasaray striker Victor Osimhen has revealed that he chose to rejoin the Turkish giants because he felt truly valued at the club, despite receiving major offers from top European and Middle Eastern teams.

Osimhen, who left Napoli earlier this summer, confirmed he had interest from clubs such as Chelsea, Arsenal, Manchester United, Juventus, Paris Saint-Germain, and Saudi side Al-Hilal.

However, the Nigeria international decided to make his loan move to Galatasaray permanent, emphasizing the sense of respect and unity within the team.

“I already knew in my heart where I wanted to be. They valued me here,” Osimhen said in his post-match interview after Galatasaray’s 3-1 win over Çaykur Rizespor in the Turkish Super Lig.

“My club, my fans… There is a really different understanding within the club. Whether a player makes the starting eleven or the substitutes, everyone is respected here.

The difficult part was the financial one. I received some big offers, offers from big clubs. It would be a lie if I said it didn’t interest me. But I’m happy to be at Galatasaray.”

Osimhen is expected to play a key role this season as Galatasaray aim to defend their Super Lig title and make an impact in Europe.
