Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim has given his reaction after his side’s 3-1 defeat to Brentford in Saturday’s Premier League clash.
The Red Devils fell behind to goals from Igor Thiago (2) and Mathias Jensen, while Benjamin Sesko scored their only goal of the match. Bruno Fernandes also missed a penalty, adding to United’s frustrations at the Gtech Community Stadium.
Speaking after the game, Amorim admitted that his team lost control and struggled to cope with Brentford’s style of play.
“The feeling is always the same. Of course we want to win. I think we didn’t control the game,” Amorim told TNT Sports.
“We played the game of Brentford. Really confused. Second balls, first balls, set pieces. And all the crucial moments they were against us. Tough to lose again but we need to think about the next one.”
The defeat leaves United under growing pressure as they continue their poor Premier League run.
