Turkey Thrash Greece to Reach EuroBasket 2025 Final

Turkey's Cedi Osman in action against Greece at EuroBasket 2025 semifinal

Turkey booked their spot in the FIBA EuroBasket 2025 final with a dominant victory over Greece, stunning their rivals in Riga.

A Night to Remember for Turkey

Playing at the Xiaomi Arena in Riga, Latvia, Turkey produced one of their best performances of the tournament, overwhelming a Greece side led by Giannis Antetokounmpo.

Cedi Osman and Alperen Şengün were key for the Turks, combining with Ercan Osmani to keep Greece under pressure throughout the contest.

Greece Struggle to Respond

Despite the presence of Antetokounmpo and experienced guard Kostas Sloukas, Greece were outplayed on both ends of the court. Turkey’s relentless defense and sharp shooting saw them take control early and never look back.

The defeat ended Greece’s hopes of reaching their first EuroBasket final in over a decade.

What’s Next?

With this victory, Turkey advance to the EuroBasket 2025 final, where they will face the winner of the other semifinal. Greece, meanwhile, will battle for third place.
